How to Set Up Netscape Mail 7.0 to Send and Receive Email
- Open Netscape Mail & Newsgroups.

- Select Email account.
- Click the Next button.

- In the Your Name field, type in your name.
- In the Email Address field, type your entire email address (e.g., joe@yourdomain.com).
- Click the Next button.

- Select POP.
- In the Incoming Server field, type mail.yourdomain.com.
- In the Outgoing server field, type mail.yourdomain.com.
- Click the Next button.

- In the User Name field, type in your username (e.g., your email provider will supply).
- Click the Next button.

- In the Account Name field, type in a friendly name for account.
- Click the Next button.

- Click the Finish button.

- Click the Finish button.
Congratulations! You have successfully set up Netscape 7 to send and receive email.
- Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP) on left of screen.
- Enter SMTP server information (ie mail.yourdomain.com), and set Port to 25.
- Check Use name and password and enter your username

- Enter Reply-to-Address: to your email address (username@yourdomain.com)

- Click to Modify Copies & Folders as to your preference

- Click to modify Return Recipts.
Unsure of sending a receipt? If you're away and don't have SPAM/Junk Mail Filter" enabled, click Customize return receipts for this account and set as displayed below.

- Click to modify Server Settings. Set Leave messages on server according to your preferences
Unsure of Leaving, or Deleting messages on server? If you're sharing mailbox/account, or administering an account with someone else - enable the Leave messages on server, else:
- messages are downloaded from the mailbox/email account, to your computer making them inaccessible to your partner;
- deleting messages from mailbox/email account, may be of interest to your partner.
- Click OK

- Your Account Modifications are Complete (click on account name in left screen)
