Eudora Signature Files
A Signature File is a file attached to an e-mail you compose, which then displays as text at the end of the e-mail message when the receiver reads the e-mail. Examples of signature files are: contact information, or a common phrase, which is commonly attached to the bottom of an e-mail you receive from a friend or colleague.
Eudora signature files are stored under the Eudora tab, in the lower left-hand corner of the Eudora window.
- Click on this tab or select Tools > Signatures.

- To display the signature file menu, right-click in the signature section, and the menu shown below will appear.

- To create a new signature file, click New....
- Enter a name for this signature file. The name need only be something to remind you of the content of this signature file.

- Click OK.
Once you have created a new signature file, its name will be listed on the left hand side of the Eudora window - section A (i.e. My Signature) shown below.

- Enter the text you would like for your signature file in the right side of the window [section B, above].
You can format the signature text by using the formatting toolbar [section C, above]. The buttons are the standard Italic, Bold, etc... used in most windows applications. - When finished, click File > Save to save your signature file.
